The elephant in the room that blends with your walls

I have to tell you about this elephant in the room because it often blends so well with the wall colour that you forget it’s there.

The truth is that the hard times in life make us reach for something more, something better, and they call on us to dig really deep inside and grow and change. If nothing challenging ever happened would you be called to grow and change? Or would you just live your life and stay the same?

A colleague once told me that those people who are challenged and who have to go deep to find who they really are and what they’re truly made of end up becoming more fulfilled and happier people because they did the work. The people who just live their lives don’t gain as much in the end.

I think this is true, how about you?

I used to feel worried about what others thought about me wanting to “work on myself” and I would hide my self help books. The truth is, I felt broken and I wanted to heal. When I healed I realized I was never broken – I had simply forgotten that I was already whole – and the self help and healing work had helped me to remember myself.

What about you? Have you ever worried about what others think?

There is a lot of secret shame that women carry inside them – and it tends to erupt and beg to be noticed when big milestones happen in our lives: turning 40 or more, losing a loved one, dealing with a chronically or terminally ill elderly parent, divorce, career change, personal illness, etc.

These milestones force us to think about our life differently and that’s when we may realize that we’re not living the life we want and that we don’t know who we really are.

What can stop women from feeling truly happy and fulfilled is this fear that others will judge them for being ungrateful and for wanting something more for themselves.

Crazy, huh? And yet, we’re not crazy! We’re just conditioned to believe that we should have all our shit figured out – especially by the time we reach the respectable midlife age.

There is no shame in wanting more for yourself. Sometimes to have more, be more, and experience more we need to release what’s holding us back which means we work on ourselves. Doing this type of work doesn’t mean we don’t have our shit together, it means we love ourselves enough to fully remember and connect with our own greatness, wholeness, enoughness, and ability to thrive.

The one tool that has helped me connect to myself more than any of the others I’ve studied and tried are the Akashic Records.

The Akashic Records are the book or archive of your Soul and it’s journey. They hold all your past choices, relationships, decisions, and experiences. They help us to consciously know and understand the why behind our struggles, patterns, toxic experiences, and limitations. They also hold the answers and guidance you crave.

Here is what Anna had to say about her Akashic Records Intensive

“Knowing how my pattern started compels me to not be so frivolous with the choices that are afforded to me and to start taking them more seriously. The session taught me to be grateful for the choices I can make. Also to thoroughly research each of my choices before making a decision and to take small steps towards my goals and career. The session also helped me learn how the past-life experience influences my relationship with my son today.”

I invite you to have your own Akashic Records reading. Click here to read more and schedule your session.
